Subscription terms

LockIn Plus costs £3.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription automatically renews for the same £3.99/year price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your iPhone's Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. LockIn cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf and does not process refunds — refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their terms.

Blocking only happens on your iPhone — it runs on Apple's Screen Time, which lives on the phone. You can also sign in to the dashboard on this website to start a session and see your stats, but your phone does the blocking. LockIn isn't available on Android. You must be at least 16 years old to use LockIn.

A friend or group member can only lock your phone once you've explicitly accepted their session invite — never before. If you need out of a locked session, an emergency override is always available: a 30-second wait unlocks your phone immediately, and your partner is notified that you overrode it.
